While reading Chapter 5 of Your Brand: The next media company by Michael Brito, he mentions Toyota’s slogan “Kaizen.” This is a chinese term for “constant improvement.” Brito says its not just for becoming more efficient and productive in technology and workflows, but also for the way you generate content and engage with the community.
I could not agree more with Brito. Kaizen should be a term that everyone should live by in their personal and professional lives. Society around us is constantly changing, especially in social media. The more we welcome the change, the more we can improve and adapt with it. If a company’s command center for social media strives for Kaizen more engaging and successful content will be produced.
